Youth Serving YOUth National Conference The Youth Development GIG raised 100% of the estimated budget for the conference using PCPP! If you are interested in attending the conference, look for the application set to be mailed to PCVs after Reconnect (mid-July) and due end-of-August 2011. The YD GIG expects to invite 15 PCV sites, including 1 PCV, 2 youth, and 1 counterpart from each site. Please email youth.gig.pcth@gmail.com for any questions.

To Be Number One Camp a Group 122 member facilitated a Life Skills Camp.

Playgrounds (google website) a Group 122 as well as an RPCV 120 give advice as well as budgets and sketches on how to build a playground in your area. Most playgrounds have been funded by Friends of Thailand (FoT). Check out the website for ideas on FoT project proposals.

PC Thailand Impact Assessment Report (revised as of May 2, 2011) The assessment was conducted through field interviews with people who have worked and lived with the PCVs in fifty-five (55) TCCO and CBOD project sites across the country. The sites were chosen through a systematic sampling method by the Office of Strategic Planning and Evaluation, of Peace Corps Headquarters. Altogether, 30 TCCO sites and 25 CBOD sites were selected. It can also be accessed on PC Thailand Sharepoint and in volunteers email inboxes in Issue 8 of Khao Rai Sub Da emailed to volunteers on May 6, 2011.

Sex Education and HIV/AIDS and Life Skills materials 3 different projects with 3 different goals with 3 different target groups. Check out the projects completed by members of 122 with excellent materials to replicate.
