Mooching at the Office
More than likely there is at least one place at your site that will have internet. Try checking out the SAO office, tessaban office, local health station or the local schools. Best part about using the internet at one of these locations is that it’s all FREE!

Internet Cafes
Internet cafes are very prevalent within Thailand, even the smaller cities should have at least a few. Some volunteers may have internet cafes right at their sites, while others may have to travel to the next town or district over to reach one. You can expect to pay about 15-20 baht per hour and the speeds are usually high.

WiFi Hotspots
If you’re in Bangkok and have your laptop handy, some restaurants, hotels, bars, coffeehouses, etc. offer what are called WiFi Hotspots. What that means is that anyone can come into these designated ‘hotspots’ and connect to their wireless network. Usually it is high-speed and free to boot (even though they won’t charge you, it would still be polite to buy at least a water).
