Proposed Order Of Discussion

  1. Introductions
  2. Personal Goals For ICT
    • People can discuss any ideas or goals they have for themselves related to ICT, or having to do with the ICT GIG
  3. ICT Liasons With Other GIGs
    • How is that going? Is it working for people? Is it worth our time? Do we want to continue it? Do we want to change it?
      • If we plan on continuing it, how are we going to redistribute responsibility to include the 2 new GIG members? This point of discussion can be saved until the end, when we discuss the general redistribution of GIG responsibility.
  4. The Wiki
    • How is the Wiki going? Do we need to promote it more?
    • General Wiki Thoughts
  5. The Listserv
    • Are users happy with the listserv? Do we need to do anything to change it?
    • Do we need to police it more?
  6. Finding Out What Other Volunteers Are Doing At Site, ICT-related
    • Do we want to do a survey? This was previously discussed, but decided against. Do we feel differently now?
    • Beyond identifying current projects, do we want to go deeper and identify existing ICT resources for potential projects?
    • If so, who wants to be in charge?
  7. Building Online ICT Project Database-Resource
    • Does it already exist? Where?
    • Do we want to start putting together tutorials or "how-to" guides for potential or common ICT projects?
      • Ideas for tutorials that would be useful or helpful?
    • If so, who wants to be in charge?
  8. Podcasting
    • Video Podcasting?
  9. Open ICT GIG Project Brainstorming
    • Time to discuss and brainstorms things that we together as a GIG can work towards accomplishing
    • If we come up with things, we should try and set specific goals and deadlines, a la PDM.
  10. One 120 ICT Member Resigning To Make Opening For Third 121 ICT Member
    • Do we want to reduce to two 120 ICT members from three so that ICT will have three full members when 120 COS's?
      • If so, should we see what we can do about making it official policy?
        • In the future, in the absence of a volunteer, how would a decision about who to release be made?
  11. Passing Off GIG Responsibilities To New Members
    • Not all responsibilites need to be passed now, but the sooner we pass "official" responsibility, the more change new members will have to learn from old member's experiences
    • Roles include:
      • Leader?
      • Notetaker
      • Wiki Webmaster
      • Listserv Admin
  12. Final Business?
    • Anything that hasn't been done or discussed yet that we need to cover before the end of the meeting.
    • Taking stock of everyone's responsibilities and commitments.
  13. Soft Dates For Next Meeting
