Mailing Tips

  • If you're going to send stuff to the U.S., the cheapest way is by surface (ship). It might take 2 months or more, but if you're not in a rush, the savings might be worth it. A 20 kg package will cost about 3,000 baht and a 25 kg package will cost about 4,000 baht (as of Feb '09). The maximum weight is 25 kg.
  • Put everything in one (1) box, even if it's a lot of weight. Breaking the shipment into multiple smaller, lighter boxes will actually be a lot more expensive! This is because the rates get cheaper when you have more weight. Since the discounts are on a box-by-box basis, many lighter boxes will have a higher rate than one big, heavy box.
